Demolition first: how tearing out properly keeps a renovation on schedule
July 12, 2026

Most renovation delays start on day one. Rushed demolition damages wiring, plumbing and framing you were planning to keep, and every one of those surprises costs days.
We strip room by room, cut power and water where needed, protect the floors and stairs, and stack material so it loads out fast. Openings get headed and braced before anything structural comes down.
Ceilings come down in controlled sections so insulation and vapour barrier can be inspected while the cavity is open — the cheapest time to fix anything you find.
Clients arrange the bin and the trash removal; we do the tear-out, the protection and the load-out. From there, framing and drywall pick up immediately with the same crew.
